Page Fix service

Terms of service

Effective September 26, 2026. These terms cover the HoneyBun Page Fix service at go.gethoneybun.com/fix, fix.gethoneybun.com, the API at hb-fix-api and the MCP server at hb-fix-mcp (together, "the service"). They do not change the terms of any other HoneyBun product.

1. Who this is for

The service is offered to businesses and professionals who build, design or maintain websites, including agencies working on sites they do not own. By creating an account you confirm that you are allowed to audit and change the pages you submit. If a page is not yours, you are responsible for having the owner's permission.

2. What the service does

Patches are produced by an automated system. Review a patch before you deploy it. The verification checks what we can measure from the public page; it is not a promise about search rankings, traffic or revenue.

3. Credits and payment

The service is paid in credits. One credit is one US dollar. Credits are bought in packs through Stripe; the packs and their prices are shown on the pricing page and in the portal, loaded from the same table the service charges from. Credits do not expire. Credits are not cash, cannot be transferred to another account, and are not redeemable for money except as stated in section 5.

Prices in credits for an attempt fee and a verified fix are shown before you approve any job. We may change prices for future jobs; a job keeps the price it was quoted.

4. What is charged, and when

OutcomeWhat happens to the credits held
Verified: the live page passesThe fix price is charged. The attempt fee is part of it.
Failed on our side (we could not build the patch or our verification could not run)Every credit held is released. You get one free retry of that job.
Failed on the site (the patch was not applied, the page changed under it, or the site blocked our fetch)The attempt fee is kept. The rest is released.
Expired (you did not deploy within the job's time limit)The attempt fee is kept. The rest is released.

The full fix price is held when a job opens so that no set of jobs can spend more credits than you have. The ledger in the portal shows every hold, charge and release, and it is never edited: a correction is a new entry.

5. Refunds

The refund rule for a job is section 4: a fix that fails on our side costs nothing; a fix that fails because of the site, or that expires, costs the attempt fee. For anything else, including unused credits, email andrew@gethoneybun.com and we will look at it. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under law.

6. Your account and keys

You sign in by email link. API keys are shown once when created; we keep only a hash. Keep keys secret and revoke any key you think has leaked. You are responsible for use of the service through your keys and sessions, and for the pages submitted with them.

7. Fair use

Do not use the service on pages you have no right to change, to attack or overload a site, or to circumvent a site's access controls. Requests are rate limited. We may pause or close an account that breaks these rules, and we may pause the service for maintenance or safety; held credits on jobs we cancel are released.

8. Your data

What we keep and for how long is in the privacy page, which is part of these terms.

9. Warranty and liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a patch will improve a page's search performance, and we are not responsible for changes you choose to deploy. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continued use after that date is acceptance. The service is operated by HoneyBun (ACFit LLC, California). Questions: andrew@gethoneybun.com.
