HONEYBUN
LOGO USE CASES
v2.0 · March 2026
Every placement has a purpose.
Every variant has a rule.
Veteran-Owned · gethoneybun.com
The HoneyBun logo is a pure wordmark set in Bebas Neue with our signature gold gradient. No icon, no fuss — just the name with weight behind it. This is the version you reach for first.
Primary
HONEYBUN
Local Marketing. Handled.
PRIMARY — DARK BACKGROUND
Default usage. Website hero, pitch decks, one-pagers, dark UI. Gold gradient left-to-right with soft glow drop shadow.
Surface
HONEYBUN
ON SURFACE (#111)
Dashboard headers, nav bars, card headers. No glow needed — gradient carries enough contrast.
Flat
HONEYBUN
FLAT GOLD (#FFB800)
When gradients aren't available — email signatures, text-only contexts, favicons at small size. Single color fallback.
When HoneyBun appears on light surfaces — print, co-branded materials, partner websites, or light-mode UI — use these treatments.
Light
HONEYBUN
Local Marketing. Handled.
WHITE BACKGROUND
Use the core→burnt gradient (skip #FFB800 — too low contrast on white). Tagline in burnt gold.
Cream
HONEYBUN
CREAM / WARM PAPER
Print collateral, letterhead, stationery. Solid burnt gold for maximum legibility on warm stock.
Mono
HONEYBUN
MONOCHROME BLACK
Legal documents, fax headers, single-color print, newspaper ads. When color is not an option.
Knockout
HONEYBUN
KNOCKOUT ON GOLD
Merchandise, stickers, banners, event signage. Black text on flat gold background. Bold and unmistakable.
The standalone icon is a honeycomb hexagon with "HB" monogram. Use it where the full wordmark won't fit — favicons, app icons, profile avatars, and small-format placements.
Primary HB
ICON — DARK
App icon, browser tab, dashboard sidebar. Glow filter on hex stroke.
Light HB
ICON — LIGHT
White backgrounds. Drop #FFB800 from gradient — use core→burnt only for contrast.
Knockout HB
ICON — KNOCKOUT
Merch, stickers, gold backgrounds. Black hex + monogram on brand gold.
Icon + wordmark side-by-side for navigation bars, email headers, and wide-format placements where vertical space is tight.

Link previews on Slack, Twitter, LinkedIn. Centered wordmark on surface card, gradient top border, tagline below.

Quick replies, mobile. Name + brand in DM Sans, URL in DM Mono gold. No logo mark needed.
Embroidery, screen print, laser engraving, die-cut stickers. Physical production demands simpler treatments with fewer color steps.

HONEYBUN
EMBROIDERY — DARK GARMENT
Hats, polos, jackets. Single-color gold thread (#FFB800 match). Increase letter-spacing to 8px for stitch clarity.
Print
HONEYBUN
SCREEN PRINT — LIGHT GARMENT
T-shirts, tote bags. Burnt gold (#5A450F) on light fabric. One color = one screen = lower cost.
Die-Cut HONEYBUN VETERAN-OWNED LOCAL MARKETING. HANDLED.
DIE-CUT STICKER
Hex sticker for laptops, water bottles, conference swag. Black fill, gold gradient border + wordmark.
Engrave
HONEYBUN
LASER ENGRAVING
Metal pens, Yeti tumblers, wooden plaques. White at 40% opacity simulates etched look. Wide spacing for cut path.
When HoneyBun appears alongside an operator's brand — their website footer, their reports, their review funnel pages. HoneyBun is secondary. Their brand leads.
Footer
POWERED BY
HONEYBUN
POWERED BY — DARK
Footer badge on operator sites. "Powered by" in DM Mono 9px, pipe separator, small flat gold wordmark. Subtle, not competing.
Footer
POWERED BY
HONEYBUN
POWERED BY — LIGHT
Light operator sites. Burnt gold wordmark, grey "powered by" text. Stays below the radar while building brand recognition.
Below these thresholds the logo becomes illegible. Clear space protects the mark from visual noise.

MINIMUM SIZES
Below these sizes, switch to the next simpler variant (wordmark → icon → favicon letter). Never scale below these floors.
HONEYBUN
CLEAR SPACE
Minimum breathing room: 1x the cap height of "H" on left/right, 0.5x above/below. No other elements may intrude into this zone.
DO
Use the gradient wordmark on dark backgrounds (#080808 or #111111). This is the default — reach for it first.
DON'T
Put the #FFB800 flat wordmark on white. It's too low-contrast. Switch to core→burnt gradient or solid burnt gold.
DO
Use the glow drop-shadow on hero placements and large formats. It makes the wordmark feel alive and premium.
DON'T
Add glow to small sizes (under 24px). It blurs into mush. Below 200px wide, skip the glow entirely.
DO
Keep Bebas Neue as the only logo typeface. The wordmark IS the logo — swapping fonts kills brand recognition.
DON'T
Stretch, rotate, outline, add drop shadows (other than glow), apply effects, or put the logo inside shapes it wasn't designed for.
DO
Use "Powered by HoneyBun" for operator co-branding. Keep it small, secondary, and non-competing with their brand.
DON'T
Place the full HoneyBun lockup larger than the operator's own logo on co-branded materials. We're the engine, not the storefront.
