Find your issue below. Each one has a fix you can try right now — and when to text the team instead.
Close the app completely and reopen it. On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away. On Android, use the recent apps button.
If that doesn't work, clear your browser cache: Settings → Safari (or Chrome) → Clear History and Website Data. Then reopen operator.gethoneybun.com.
Double-check your phone number — make sure it's the one you signed up with, including area code. Tap "Resend code" and wait 60 seconds.
If your carrier blocks short codes, try switching to WiFi or toggling airplane mode on/off to reset the connection.
Text the team. We can resend the code manually or update your phone number on the account.
Check your phone's notification settings: Settings → Notifications → find the HoneyBun app (or your browser) → make sure notifications are enabled.
On iPhone, also check Focus mode isn't blocking notifications. On Android, check Do Not Disturb settings.
Open the HoneyBun app → Account → Notification Preferences → confirm text notifications are toggled on.
Wait 5 minutes and try again. Brief outages during maintenance or deployments are rare but resolve automatically. Try loading in an incognito/private window to rule out caching.
Text the team immediately. Site downtime is treated as urgent — we monitor automatically, but a heads-up helps us fix it faster.
Open the HoneyBun app → Edit Site. You can update text, phone numbers, and photos directly. Changes go live immediately.
For changes you can't make yourself (page layout, new sections, complex edits), text the team with what needs changing.
Test on a different device or network — slow WiFi can make any site feel sluggish. If it's slow everywhere, text the team. Common culprits: oversized images (we'll optimize them), cache needing a purge, or a server-side issue we can fix.
If your site is less than 2 weeks old — this is normal. Google needs time to discover and index your pages. Data starts appearing once Google processes your sitemap.
If your site is older than 2 weeks — check if Google Search Console is connected. Open the app → Account → Integrations. If GSC shows "Not connected," text the team to reconnect it.
Small fluctuations are normal. Google adjusts rankings daily. A 10-20% swing week-to-week is typical and usually corrects itself.
If the drop is 50%+ or persists for 2+ weeks, text the team. Possible causes: Google algorithm update (we adapt), a technical issue (we fix it), or seasonal demand shift (we adjust strategy).
Text the team with examples. We have anti-spam measures (honeypot fields, rate limiting) that we can tighten. Occasional spam is unavoidable on any website, but a sudden spike means we need to add stronger filtering.
Check your card: expired card, insufficient funds, or bank fraud block are the most common causes. Update your payment method through the link in the email, or text the team to send a new payment link.
We retry failed payments automatically. Your site stays live during a grace period — but update your card as soon as you can to avoid interruption.
Text the team with what's happening. Include a screenshot if you can — it speeds up the fix.
